Delicious cauliflower steaks with skyr sauce and tomatoes. Skyr is a real Icelandic superfood!
Ingredients 2 persons
-Cut vertically thick slices from the middle part of the cauliflower and fry them for ± 8 minutes on each side on a low heat until golden brown, in a large frying pan with 2 tbsp oil and the melted butter. Season to taste with a few turns of the ‘Chicken & Steak’ spice mill.
– Meanwhile, fry the chopped shallot for 2 minutes on a low heat in a sauté pan with the rest of the olive oil.
-Add the halved tomatoes and thyme. Fruit for another 10 minutes on a low heat.
Make the Skyr sauce:
-mix the Skyr, the juice of the lime and the chili. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Serve the cauliflower steaks with the tomatoes and a little sauce. Sprinkle with the seeds and garnish with coriander.
